ATLANTA, GA - OCTOBER 21: 6Lack performs at #YouTubeBlackFanFest at Morehouse College on October 21, 2019 in Atlanta, Georgia.

As we previously reported, rapper Young MA recently stated that “music doesn’t feel the same,” anymore. “Music don’t feel the same because we barely have R&B, …R&B brung that balance to music,” Young MA tweeted on Monday (Feb. 24).

“Now everything is leanin one-way smh so it gets played out quick! We need R&B for the balance no kap!”

Singer, 6lack recently expressed his thoughts regarding Young MA’s sentiments. “It’s too much good hip-hop and R&B out here for y’all to be complaining about something we don’t have,” 6lack said in a recent Instagram video.

“Saying that you miss something specifically in R&B is equivalent to saying that you miss substance or bars whatever in hip-hop.”

“It’s always somebody who does it. The question is, ‘Do you support them?’ The other question is, ‘Do the people who do whatever it is that you desire so much, do they know how to make music in the current climate?’ Do they make music that speaks to you, today? Or is that [expletive] just not good?” he continued.

“That sounds like a “them problem,” a “you problem”…It’s too much good music out here, man. Do your searches. Find some people that you love. It’s that easy.”
