Actress, comedian, and author Amanda Seales has been announced as The Real‘s new permanent co-host.

The announcement came during an episode of The Real on Monday (Jan. 6). “We are excited to announce who was going to fill it. She’s a comedian, an actress that you know from HBO’s Insecure, she’s an author, and someone who has been guest co-hosting, and so we said, ‘You know what let’s just make it permanent,'” The Real‘s co-host Loni Love said before Seales made her way out from backstage.

“Please, welcome the newest member of our family, the new co-host of The Real, Amanda Seales!”
