3:05 p.m. Update:

We are tuning into the Orange County broadcastify channel, where they have sent six ambulances to the tarmac at Stewart Airport in New York — In preparation for Post Malone’s plane to make an emergency landing.

According to TMZ, just moments ago the plane, which departed from a New Jersey airport, had an issue with its tires.

More specifically, it’s being reported that a couple of the tires blew out during takeoff.

The plane was originally headed to London.

After evaluating the situation, air traffic control is rerouting the plane to Massachusetts — In an effort to burn more fuel before landing.

This will hopefully allow the plane to land safely.

According to CBS Boston, the plane will attempt to land at Westfield-Barnes Regional Airport. 16 people are believed to be on board.
