Floyd Mayweather’s bodyguard was shot in Atlanta overnight.
The incident occurred outside a hotel around 3 a.m. this morning.
According to TMZ, police responded to the incident after the bodyguard and others returned from a nearby nightclub.
For unknown reasons, a vehicle pulled alongside the car Mayweather’s bodyguard was riding in and shot at the car, striking the man.
Police are still investigating but don’t believe this is a random act of violence, rather they believe the vehicle was targeted.
The bodyguard remains in the hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg. He is listed in stable condition.
