You know what that means...
First, there was the internet. Then there were memes. And if you are an old fuddy-duddy like me (at the ripe age of 28), you were around when dial-up internet became wired broadband, to wireless, and probably saw the first memes ever created (unless you're counting Egyptian hieroglyphics - man, those guys loved cats, too).
So, with that being said... Guess what today's significance, May 1st is?
GUYS IT'S THAT TIME OF YEAR? IT'S GONNA BE MAY!!! #itsgonnabemay
For those who don't get the reference, in the song "It's Gonna Be Me," Justin embellishes his accent, and it sounds like "May" instead of "Me." The internet even took it so far is to make a pre-meme from a Jimmy Fallon skit of modern-day Justin Timberlake to warn everyone what was coming:
It's gonna be May! ??? via @bustle
Some people may be sick of it, but let's be honest, if Justin Timberlake even says it's okay to bring back his Ramen-Noodle hair for the first of the month (which he did so last year), then we'll bring it back until he says otherwise. Justin's word is law.
Everybody... It is ACTUALLY GONNA BE MAY! #canyoumemeyourself Probably not, right?
Now, go fall down the rabbit hole and listen to some pre-SexyBack JT. Or listen to SexyBack JT... It's pretty sultry.
